The Bang O Lure was Jim Bagley's first balsa bait. It was specifically designed as a twitch or jerk bait for the bass angler with improved castability. It is a strategic bait with a slow wide action that is meant to bring big bass out of heavy cover for explosive top water strikes. This lure comes in three varieties:

The original Bang O Lure comes with a lip and is meant to be fished as a twitch or jerk bait on the surface. Then on the retrieve it gets down 2 feet with a slow wide action preferred by big gamefish.

The Spintail Bang O Lure is the most versatile lure ever made. It has a spinner prop on the tail that adds to the surface drama when twitched, but has that slow wide wobble that made this lure famous on the retrieve. It is effective as a surface bait and get hits on the retrieve.

The Twin Spin Bang O Lure is designed for maximum surface action. This lipless jerk bait has a spinner prop on the front and the back to create a serious surface disturbance sure to pull big fish out of heavy cover for big top water strikes.

The Deep Diving Shad is a balsa wood bait with a huge lip that gets this shad shaped lure down to 14 feet. This is a great slow trolling lure for deep shorelines and over structure or suspended fish.

The Deep Diving Bang O Lure is made from obechee, an African hardwood. Its huge lip takes this bait down to 15 feet in a hurry. It works as a perfect trolling lure and the lip placement allows a wide, fast action that creates maximum water displacement, attracting predators from a long distance.

The Diving B was the first deep diving crankbait. A lead ballast is inserted in the lip that helps create a deeper angle of decent. This bait will dive to 16 feet faster than any other crankbait. The lead ballast also acts as a, "tuning button," so anglers can adjust the lure to move more left or right, or up or down. It offers anglers a deep diving, fast action that hunts for big fish around deep structure.

The mullet is the most prominent saltwater baitfish targeted by gamefish around the world. Made from an African hardwood called obechee, the Bagley Finger Mullets are tough, but offer the tremendous action that can only come from natural wood material. The Finger Mullet's cylindrical shape is designed to cast a long distance, which is extremely important when targeting spooky gamefish up on shallow flats. There are two varieties of Finger Mullets: The Jumping Mullet, which floats and has a perfect "walk the dog" surface action, and the Sinking Mullet that sinks quickly, but when jerked has an enticing wide side-to-side action.

The Honey B is a small but mighty little balsa crankbait that was designed to catch big bluegill, bream or crappie. Its fast, tight action also makes it a great bass bait when the fish are targeting small baitfish as evidenced in it's victory at the 1976 Bass Master's Classic.

The Killr' B is a slimmer version of the Diving B crank bait with a faster action. It comes with a square bill for shallower fishing in heavy wooded conditions or a deep diving version with a long round lip that has a lead ballast for a fast angle of decent. The lead ballast also acts as a "tuning button" so an angler can adjust the bait's movement left or right, up or down.
